About Frank
So how does someone who has spent the majority of their life working Computer Science for over 20 years and at even one stage was a skeptic end up as a Psychic Medium?
Well my journey into the psychic world is one full of synchronicity together with a lot of guidance from both the other side, not to mention amazing messages from some of the most talented and well known psychic mediums in the world about my own “gift”.
The beginning of the journey
It all started rather innocuously for me over 10 years ago whilst sitting on a sofa and flicking between channels on television to cure boredom. That particular night by chance I came across a man by the name of John Edward. At this stage I was skeptical to psychic ability but open minded. My skepticism was more through a lack of understanding rather than a cynicism that this was possible. If Psychic Abiity was true then surely everyone would already know about it right?
As I watched John Edward my initial thought that this was an entertainment show by a magician rather than someone displaying paranormal abilities quickly changed. To say I was confused is an understatement. This was the first time I had ever seen a psychic do their “work”. More confusing to me though was that it was nothing like I had thought it would be or should I say had been told it would be by those around me that ridiculed psychics.
So the first thing I did was to jump on the Internet and do some reading up on John Edward. What I found was website after website explaining that he was a fraud and used tactics such as cold reading to convince people that he was communicating with their loved ones. It was the first time I had heard of cold reading.
I decided do some investigation into this Cold Reading phenomenon and something didn't feel right about the explanations the skeptics were giving on John Edward. The way they were explaining how he did his readings was not what I was seeing on the television screen. When I actually watched John Edward do his readings there were too many things which didn’t fit what I had been told by these skeptics and could not be so easily explained.
I questioned how a man who was apparently a fraud could get as far as having his own television show? Someone must believe him to put their own credibility on the line. This wasn't a show where they pretended to take themselves seriously, they DID take themselves seriously.
If he was truly genuine then surely this is the proof we need for an afterlife? Why weren't more people talking about this? Every time I did ask someone if they believed in psychics the general consensus was "no".
By this stage though my thirst for knowledge meant I read as much as I could about psychics and the afterlife. What I didn't know at the time was that I was being deliberately guided to the beginning of a journey and a dream I never thought possible at the time. I was psychic.
